To contribute code, please read the contributing guide.

Please note that the Code of Conduct applies to community forums as well as technical participation.

Communication channels

The project has two Slack channels in the CNCF Slack workspace:

• #gvisor for user questions and general discussion.
• #gvisor-dev for development and contribution.

To join the channels:

1. Get an invitation to the CNCF Slack workspace from the self-service page at slack.cncf.io.
2. Accept the invitation that you get in your email. You are then a member of the CNCF Slack workspace.
3. Join the #gvisor and #gvisor-dev channels.

You cannot join the channels until you accept the CNCF invitation.

The project also maintains two mailing lists:

• gvisor-users for announcements and general discussion.
• gvisor-dev for development and contribution.

Community meetings

The community calendar shows upcoming public meetings and opportunities to collaborate or discuss the project. Meetings are planned and announced ahead of time via the gvisor-users mailing list.

These meetings are public: anyone can join.
